===== Publication of "Le Grand Atlas du Soleil" ===== The publisher Glénat has released a richly illustrated book about our star, the Sun. The writing of this book, supervised by Milan Maksimovic from LIRA (Observatoire de Paris), was carried out by several French solar physicists, including Étienne Pariat from FSLAC/THEMIS. “Le Grand Atlas du Soleil” offers a comprehensive overview of our star, allowing readers to explore the Sun from every angle—its internal structure, its role in shaping the heliosphere, solar eclipses, sunspots, eruptions, space weather, and auroras. The book also delves into the latest findings from recent solar exploration missions, such as the Parker Solar Probe and Solar Orbiter.
